aiteam.space vs Grok Bot: Always-On AI Agents Compared
Grok Bot and aiteam.space both run always-on AI agents with their own computer. Where they differ: whose AI they run on, one shared computer or one container per agent, where you talk to them, and price. Grok Bot facts come from xAI's docs, read 31 October 2026.

xAI launched Grok Bot in beta on 11 August 2026 as a team of always-on agents. You give each Bot a name and a job, and it works on a persistent cloud computer with a browser, files and a terminal. It keeps going after you close the app. It is one of the clearer takes so far on what an AI teammate can be.
aiteam.space starts from the same idea but makes different choices about where the agent runs and which AI it uses. This aiteam.space vs Grok Bot comparison takes every Grok Bot fact from xAI's own documentation. If you are looking at Grok Bot alternatives, these are the differences that matter.

What Grok Bot is
In xAI's words, Grok Bot gives you "AI teammates with names, jobs, and context that compounds over time." Each Bot "works on a persistent cloud computer with a browser, filesystem, and terminal." It signs into your apps, and it can run routines on a schedule or when something happens in Slack, GitHub, Linear, Sentry, PagerDuty, email or a webhook.
All of your Bots use the same computer. xAI's docs say they share "its files, browser sessions, and app logins, which makes handoffs work without repeating setup," and ask you to "treat anything placed on it as available to every Bot you run." Isolation between different users is strict: each user's work runs in its own Firecracker microVM.
Grok Bot is included in The X Subscription (opens in a new tab) on the Premium, Super and Ultra plans, and in paid Cursor plans for people on a legacy Cursor plan.
What aiteam.space is
aiteam.space hosts always-on AI agents. Each agent runs Hermes Agent, the open source agent from Nous Research, in a private container that is not shared with other customers. An agent has its own email address, schedule and files, so it keeps working without a tab open. You talk to it in Telegram, Discord or WhatsApp, alone or in your team's group chat.
You can start from a ready-made agent, such as a CTO, a CMO or a product manager, or from a blank one, then add skills as you need them. Skills, MCP servers and schedules are included in every plan.
The main difference: whose AI it runs on
Grok Bot runs on xAI's models. Its FAQ is direct about it: "Grok Bot picks the model for each task, and there is no model picker." Usage comes from the weekly pool in your X Subscription, shared with Grok and Cursor, and extra Grok Bot usage after that is paid from prepaid credit.
This is where a Grok Bot alternative like aiteam.space works differently. An aiteam.space agent runs on the AI you already pay for. From the agent's page, you connect your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription, sign in to Codex, or add your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key. aiteam.space charges for hosting, not for the AI, so the plan price stays the same whichever one you connect, and you can switch later.
The model account is yours, the agent software is open source, and you can export an agent's files and memory, including before you cancel.
One shared computer, or one box per agent
Both products run always-on agents, but they make opposite choices about the computer.
Grok Bot gives every Bot on your account one computer. That makes handoffs easy, because one Bot can pick up a file or a login that another Bot left behind. It also means every Bot can reach everything on that computer.
On aiteam.space, each agent gets its own container with its own access. A writing agent and a deploy agent do not share logins unless you give them the same ones. They hand work to each other in a shared Telegram group or Discord channel, which leaves a written log of who asked for what.
If you run a few Bots on personal tasks, the shared computer may suit you. If your team wants its deploy keys held by a single agent, separate boxes are easier to reason about.
Where you talk to your agents
Grok Bot has its own desktop and mobile apps. You can also reach it in X Chat, through @bot tags on X (not yet in every region) and in Slack, where a shared Bot gets its own app and handle.
aiteam.space agents work in the chat apps teams already use. Telegram, Discord and WhatsApp come with every plan at no extra charge. With the Calls add-on, an agent can also join Google Meet, Zoom and Discord voice calls.
Pricing
Grok Bot comes with The X Subscription. xAI's pricing page (opens in a new tab) lists Premium at $30 a month, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200, with team seats at the same prices per seat. Each tier up includes more of the shared weekly pool.
aiteam.space prices hosting per agent: Starter is $19 a month, Pro $99 and Pro Ultra $199. The AI comes from your own Claude or ChatGPT plan, so if you already pay for one, hosting is the one new cost. The pricing page shows how you can start today.
When to pick Grok Bot, and when to pick aiteam.space
